How to Increase Your Google Ranking in 9 Steps

Finding ways to increase your traffic ranking to make money online can often be quite the daunting task for adults, let alone teens. Many people struggle and spend countless hours wasted with little to no results. Dont give up too fast though, there are many guides and tips out there that can help you in your journey to rank higher on those pesky search engines. 

In this quick guide I am about to present to you, you will find some basic, yet incredibly useful tips that you will greatly benefit from.

1.) Have a targeted domain name
Having a good domain name will not only add to your websites credibility, but if it has a popular keyword in it, then chances are that google bots will pick it up and you will index faster and to the top pages.

2.) Include Keywords in the Title of Articles
As long as you are writing for search engines then putting relevant keywords in your article titles will be very useful. Just make sure that you make your titles are catchy and something that a person would be willing to click on. 

3.)Write Your Keywords in Bold/Italics
While I personally do not use this method, I have seen a lot of websites with this tactic implemented and apparently the results are staggering. It is usually most beneficial to include this syntax in the first paragraph of a post when people just begin to read it. Just make sure you dont go overboard and bold a keyword every time you use it.

4.) Write High Quality Content
I cannot stress enough the importance of writing unique, well-crafted content. If you want to increase your page rank then you need to write impressive material that people want to share and read.

5.) Keep Updating
Google and other search engines like websites that are updated regularly and have interesting content. So dont be expecting to write one article, come back a year later and be on the first page of google for your niche. Aim to write at least one article a week.

6.) Participate in Forums and Other Blogs
Backlinks! Backlinks! Backlinks! I have mentioned this in several of my other posts but I want to make a note again of the importance of backlinks. Google loves forums and blogs with a high PR and there are many out there that are do-follow and allow you to leave your website as a backlink in the comments section. Just make sure you leave informational comments and dont spam. Heres a few great blogs that you can get started on:

7.) Create Multiple Pages
By having more than one page on your website/blog, this will strengthen your internal ranking and google will rank you higher.

It seems like every month the newest social media hit is coming out. Instead of looking past these opportunities use them for your benefit. Not only will you receive direct traffic from these websites, but you will also receive a high quality back link. Heres a list of the most popular ones:

9.) Target Niche Keywords with Low Competition

I can tell you right now that unless you are a killer writer and know how to use SEO like a professional then you wont be making it to the first page of google for the keyword "money" anytime soon. If you havent already, check Google Adwords to see how popular certain keywords are. 

There you have it, chances are you arent a big company with paid professionals to do the dirty work for you. However, if you work at it, spend some time each week developing your website and its keywords, then you will be on the first page of google before you know it. Make 100 a Day With Pay Per Download as a Noob

As a college student constantly looking for ways to make money online I recently came across PPD or "Pay Per Download." A Pay-Per-Download network is a network that pays you on file downloads. After uploading a file to a network, a landing page is created for visitors to get your file. Visitors have to fill out an advertiser survey before they can download a file. Usually these advertisers pay anywhere from $0.30 to upwards of $25 and that money goes directly to you. 

How you can make $100 a day with PPD

In my first month of PPD I was able to earn $1,238.67 (May). Just last June I was able to collect $3,187.91...in my second month! I learned all I do about PPD from www.blackhatworld.com, I highly recommend you check it out if you have not already. Tons of methods and tips to help you earn some serious coin. Okay now on to my method to bring in $100 a day as a teen or college student. What you will be doing is PPD with Youtube. You create youtube videos based on popular niches, upload a file to your network and put the files URL into your videos description box. People will watch your video, (hopefully) be intrigued enough to visit your file and fill out a brief survey to ultimately unlock and have the ability to download the file.

Lets Get Started

First off you will need to join a PPD network. Here are a few that I recommend:

You will need to fill out an application in order to join these networks. As long as you sound somewhat intelligent and let them know that you plan on "using youtube to monetize your files" then you should be fine. After you create your account you will need to find a niche that you believe will be successful. As a teenager this should be quite simple. Some of the popular ones are gaming codes, movies, health, etc. Just think to yourself what would you be willing to fill out a survey in order to download. Often times people lie and claim that they are offering "free netflix or xbox live accounts," but I have found that a simple free e-book that you can download from another website works just as well. 

Create Your File

Once you have your niche, you will need to create the file that people will be downloading. For example if your niche is weight loss, create a weight loss e-book and save it as a PDF file in Microsoft Word. Then go onto your PPD website and upload your file.

Make A Youtube Channel and Video

After you have uploaded your file you will need to go onto youtube and create an account designated to your niche, i.e. "WeightLossToday". Using a video editing software create a short video about the file (make the video legitimate and actually put some time into it) and then upload it to your new channel. Put your PPD link into the videos description so viewers will have an opportunity to click on and download the file. 

Boost Your Video

Your next and final task is to boost your video so it ranks well on youtube as well as google. Although many of these views are often fake they will still allow your video to rank well which in turn allows for "more natural views." Some programs you can use for this are:

There you have it! Work on ranking your video and create more videos and in no time you should be pulling in $100 a day.  I know some people making over $500 A DAY with this method which equates to over $182,000 A YEAR. Now you may not make that much, but even $50 a day really adds up and after your videos are ranked this is all automatic income, meaning you can sit back and watch your bank account grow. Of course, you can obviously change this method up, this is a very basic method just to get you started. For example, the higher earners often use landing pages and custom URLs instead of directly pasting their PPD link in the youtube description. This often creates the idea that the download is more legitimate and can allow for higher earnings. How To Get Traffic To Your Website or Blog

Over 8 years of running commercial websites to work online for Google and other affiliate programs, I like to show you free ways of how to get traffic to your website or blog. Many webmasters think having a website with beautiful design is all they need to attract surfers. However, their concepts are only 10% right. The other 90% of getting website traffic takes hard work and diligence and time. The answer is simple. You must tell people about your website or blog. You must advertise the site to surfers so they know about it.

How To Get Traffic To Your Website

You might already know about how to design your website or blog to get fresh content, title and mega tags with keyword-rich contents. For example, for my website, my title is “How To Make Money Online”, meta tags I put “make money working for Google, earn money with Google, making money with Google AdSense, etc.”
Some people spend tons of dollars to advertise on Google AdWords or Yahoo Searches, I want to show you free tips for getting traffic without costing you a cent.

1. Submit your website or blog to search engines. Don’t submit too many times a month because you may get banned from it. Some of popular search engines you may submit to are: Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Alexa, and so on. You can search on Google to get more search engines. Working online for Google and other affiliates require your patience, diligence, and time.
2. Submit your website or blog to link directories. These web directories you can find either online or at forums like DigitalPoint forum. Make short titles before you submit. For example, I make a title for my site to submit to link directories as “How To Make Money Online”.
3. Submit your website or blog to social networking sites such as Digg, Twitter, Facebook, Mixx, etc. Don’t submit many links on one of your site to these social networking sites a day, you may get banned.
4. Write articles and submit them to article directories. You will get at least 2 or 3 links at the author’s area.
   Update your blog or website with new content/pages at least weekly. Search engines like fresh content.

These are free ways to get traffic on my websites and blogs, other webmasters may have some other ways. That is how I did every day, week, month, year to get traffic on my sites. Remember, you can’t get traffic overnight. It takes time, diligence, and hard work when you work online from home.
